Standardized Keyboard Shortcuts for OSX
A while back I pled for standardized keyboard shortcuts in OmniGraffle. Today I took matters into my own hands and started remapping shortcuts by hand in the Keyboard Shortcuts System Preference pane. “Wouldn’t it be neat if I could share these?” I asked myself. I tracked down my changed keyboard shortcuts to two plist files in the ~/Library/Preferences folder, see this screenshot for more details. I’m now changing my plea. Can we start a repository for sharing modified keyboard shortcuts? Collectively we can do something Apple has not yet been able to do; standardize keyboard shortcuts across applications.
