Tag-Centric PIM
There are so many PIMs out there for the Mac, but they all seem stuck on the old folder hierarchy model. Nothing is wrong with folders, but shoving ideas into neat boxes is difficult for the creative mind. Phil’s Journler is one of the most flexible PIMs I’ve come across and I’ve recently enjoyed playing with Steve’s Together, but nothing clicks as being just right. Tim’s Nifty Box offers a very elegant and tag-centric way to organize files, and I have long praised Luis’ WebnoteHappy as having a fantastic interface for the tag-centric bookmarking app, but these ideas have yet to infiltrated our full fledged PIMs.
