Should I use MS Office for Mac?
On the Mac I highly recommend considering the iWork suite, specifically Pages.app and Keynote.app
Use MS Office if you need:
- advanced features of Excel
- ability to collaboratively edit and share complicated MS Office documents with non-Mac users
Otherwise the iWork suite gives you nicer results with less effort, some might even call them fun.
For collaboration with both Mac and non-mac users consider using Google Docs, and then moving the final copy to the iWork suite once it’s ready to be viewed/printed.
